Gabriella Iacono & Grégory Grosjean have been working together for the past ten years sharing time on stage, at the studio, on tour. With their company madebyhands they are exploring hand dancing or the art of choreography ‘with your fingertips’

Filmed close-up in miniature sets, the dancing hands of the two performers give life and movement to the characters they embody. The hand offers an original and unique ability to transpose movement. It gives the dancer an opportunity to develop a grammar of singular dance by establishing clear references: giving for instance, the idea of classical, contemporary or hip-hop dance. For everyone, the hand is able to recall the sensations of our childhood, it is our first instrument of knowledge, it is touch, it is sensitivity.
